Becoming a Host Site

Becoming a host site is quick, easy and simple. All Host Sites are required to electronically accept our Host Site Agreement, fill out an online Registration Form and pay the $50 Host Site fee.

The "Succeed - Are you ready?" DVD will be sent in mid-December when you become a host site containing:

1) 2 Promotion videos for Succeed for use in a church service 

2) 8 different college student videos segments covering the various topics addressed and related to the Succeed event that help students understand the need be prepared.

These powerful college student videos wake students up to the need to be prepared and will be sent as soon as you register for the event so that you can use it with your student or students to help motivate them to come with you to Succeed.

How do I check if a host site already exists in my area?

  • Click here to search for a host site in your area by state or zip/city, state.

What do you need to be a host site?

  • Computer, projector, high-speed internet, and the ability amplify the computer’s sound via remote speakers or sound system.
  • A designated “Host Site Coordinator” who is responsible for securing the location of the event as well as comfort considerations for the attendees during the 5 hour event.

What is the event schedule?

How will attendees register for our host site?

  • All registrations will be handled online by YTN. Send interested parties to http://ytn.org/succeed to register. They can locate your host site by searching Name, City, State or Zip.
  • Host sites will be required to check registrations at the entry points to the venue. Host site registrations will be available for the "Host Site Coordinators" to view or print in real-time at http://ytn.org/hostsite.

When is the registration deadline?

  • Registrations will be accepted online up until the start of the event. Allowing late registrations is up to the discretion of the host site. Late registrations will require the participant to fill out a manual form to be mailed by the host site.

How do I test my equipment prior to the event?

  • Use our test center below to check if your computer is capable of broadcasting Succeed 2010. On the left, play our promo video to test the ability to play video and sound.
  • On the right, test your internet connection speed.
    • We will broadcast two streams. A mid quality stream at 600kbps and high quality stream at 1200kbps. Your internet connection should have an average download speed of at least 1500kbps for the high quality stream and at least 1200kbps for the mid quality stream.
    • The actual event stream will available at http://ytn.org/succeedwebcast a half hour prior to the beginning of the broadcast.

What if I need more information?

  • Beginning Tuesday, November 3, 2009 and every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the months prior to the broadcast, YTN will hold a one hour conference call for anyone interested in getting more information or for any questions related to Succeed 2010. The time of each call will begin at 1:00pm PST. The number to call is 641.715.3840. The code to enter the call is 991628#. All interested parties are invited to call in!
